been artistically designing hair for nearly 30 years. He frequently travels to Las
Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Memphis and Dallas to further his education. It has
long been a dream of Steve's to own his own salon. Now with the opening of
SCHARDEIN AND CO he has fulfilled that dream.
Schardein and co. recently celebrated their Grand Opening at the Location at 9401
N. May Avenue. Steve had his eye on this location for years and jumped at the chance
to lease it the moment he saw it available. The location has an enormous amount
of traffic and has a location that is convenient for his clients.
With
a business model to include "what works" from salons he has toured across
the country, Steve had a definite vision for his salon. The salon is the product
of a vision cast by Steve to Alisa Weatherman an interior designer. Alisa did a
tremendous job of bringing Steve's vision to life. Jacobsen Construction was
the general contractor for the project and did a great job of getting the salon
finished in a timely manner. The salon is truly a treat for the eyes. The colors
are vibrant and young in the Hair Salon. In the Spa room and nail Spa room the colors
are soothing and relaxing. Those rooms are sound-proof for relaxation during facials,
massages and nail treatments. The salon features 26 stylist chairs, 6 nail stations,
Spa room, Nail Spa room and a lovely waiting area. The waiting area offers comfortable
seating with treats of coffee, bottled water.
